small Place Design

A two storey side and one storey rear extension was designed to accommodate a new kitchen, dining area, family room and master bedroom. Locating utility and shower rooms to the front allowed for the rear to be opened up  to the garden. Taking out many of  the ground floor walls and the cantilever over the rear corner meant close collaboration with the structural engineer.  The new spaces that were created allowed a far more practical family home with an exciting open corner to the large kitchen/dining area.
